About
Monika believes that education must go beyond classrooms and conventional academic outcomes to become a powerful instrument for equality and social transformation. She is passionate about creating learning environments where every child, irrespective of their background, feels safe, valued and empowered to discover their potential. Her sociological perspective enables her to look at education through a wider lens, recognising and addressing the inequalities that can shape a child's access to opportunity.
As a Board Member of Jeevika, Monika contributes to the organisation's STEM and School Transformation Programme, using her experience and understanding of education to support more inclusive, engaging and future-ready learning environments. She is committed to helping schools evolve into spaces that nurture curiosity, critical thinking, confidence and equal opportunity, while encouraging greater access to STEM education for children from underserved communities.
Monika aspires to be part of a larger movement that can catalyse meaningful change in the education ecosystem. As a young education leader and changemaker, she brings sociological insight, fellowship experience and a strong belief in the transformative power of education. Through her work with Jeevika, she is committed to helping reshape educational settings, advance equality and contribute towards an education system where every child has the opportunity not only to learn, but to lead, innovate and shape a better future.
